Tale of Two Candidates.

One knows how to make people feel comfortable; one knows how to scare children. One is secure in his position in life; one tries too hard to impress. One has commanded two wars over four years; one commanded a boat for four months. One is accused of watching cartoons; one should be in cartoons.

One is president and presidential; one is neither.

Aisling: (Irish: aislinn; pronounced ASH-ling): A vision poem.

In an aisling, the island of Ireland appears to the poet in a vision in the form of a woman, sometimes young and beautiful, sometimes old and haggard. This female figure is generally referred to in the poems as An Spéirbhean (the sky-woman).
