Not blogging. The semester has begun, lots of young faces looking at me with blank stares, and am quite busy finding my footing. Will get back in the swing soon.

Zell Miller. Wow. My dad died some time ago. This guy will do. What a speech. National Review Online has a good roundup.

In an aisling, the island of Ireland appears to the poet in a vision in the form of a woman, sometimes young and beautiful, sometimes old and haggard. This female figure is generally referred to in the poems as An Spéirbhean (the sky-woman).
