Here's what bothers me so much.

I can put aside the roving gangs in Venezuela. I can put aside the deep friendship with Castro, the vocal support from Iran. I can forget the people killed trying to make their voices heard. I can forget the stench of a ruthless ruling class.

What I cannot get around is this churning in my stomach when I read articles that protest so strongly that the opposition needs to be quiet now, be quiet this very second, stop talking and move on, forget this vote and think about tomorrow. Frankly, I don't recall such strong words used in a similar post-election situation across the liberal frontier.

Why are they so fervent? Me thinks thou doest protest too much, eh?
