Coal Comments - 72 EVs lit up!
People care about their jobs. I come from a several-generation line of coal crackers. We know that Bambi's comment to merely give a financial incentive (read, "fine") to new coal plants to use clean technology is a child's mentality. Whacking the industry with 100% carbon emissions cannot happen and have the industry survive.
He speaks only of co-gen plants and other ways to produce energy using coal. The transition of new tech into the field is a generation - not ten years or immediate. Further, that does not address the mining side.
Coal crackers know all this. Bambi does not. Too much university in that fella - no street smarts.
Coal production in this country covers 27 states. The table below ranks the top ten by production - that's mining, Bambi. That's taking black diamonds out of the earth. That's carbon footprinting, son, in a very big way.
I added the latest RCP polls and classified the EVs. It seems that Bambi's loose mouth has put upwards of 72 EVs at risk for him. That's a whole lotta counting.

Hey, Bambi - see those hands in my masthead? That's coal dust. My grandfather died from black lung lurking inside him for decades. Lost family to coal-mining accidents. It's a wonderful industry. Hard work. Important work. Go back to your freelance zoning officer stuff.

ReplyDeletethe link above is to a sean hannity piece on bambi's audio.
ReplyDeletethank you for linking it!
Thanks for the post. My grandfather also died of black lung disease - he too was a coal miner. Hopefully, this will open up some eyes in the swing states that have miners. I live in NM and I pray this will be enough for the northern part of the state to turn red - our state really suffers each time a mine is closed.
ReplyDeletei am sorry for your loss. i grew up with mining stories, lost lives.
ReplyDeleteobama is clueless. so pretty, so neat ...
